BAINBRIDGE — Nine more judges have endorsed Kitsap County Superior Court Judge candidate Karen Klein.

Klein, a Bainbridge lawyer and business owner, faces lawyer and judge pro tem Jennifer Forbes of Poulsbo in the Nov. 6 general election.

Klein has been endorsed by Marlin Appelwick and Linda Lau, state Court of Appeals; Sharon S. Armstrong, Theresa Doyle, Dean Lum, Kim Prochnau,  Wesley Saint Clair, Mariane Spearman and Julie Spector, King County Superior Court.

All told, Klein has been endorsed by 20 judges — among them state Supreme Court Justice Steven Gonzalez and retired justice Faith Ireland — almost 50 lawyers, 12 elected officials, and more than 360 individuals. A complete list of endorsements can be found on Klein’s website, www.karenkleinforjudge.com.

Klein has been a lawyer for more than 30 years, with experience as a trial lawyer, law school instructor, and pro tem judge. She is the CEO and general counsel of Silver Planet, which provides services and products related to aging-at-home and housing options.
