Former rep Huff endorses Young for Congress

TACOMA – Tom Huff, a former state redistricting commissioner and former state representative, has endorsed Jesse Young for representative in the 6th Congressional District.

Young is one of seven candidates for the 6th District in the Aug. 7 primary.

“I have been watching the race for Congress, and I believe Jesse Young stands out above the crowd,” Huff said in a press release. “Jesse is a hard worker, has a great vision for our district and country, and will make an excellent congressman.”

Young is an information technology consultant. According to his biography, he grew up impoverished and sometimes homeless in Tacoma’s Hilltop neighborhood. He resides in Gig Harbor with his wife and five children.

Young has also been endorsed by Thurston County Auditor Kim Wyman, Clallam County Commissioner Jim McEntire, Shelton Mayor Gary Cronce, the Grays Harbor Republican Party, and the Washington State Farm Bureau and many more.
