The voters' guide for the Aug. 7 primary election is available online.

The voters' guide has biographies, photos, statements and links for candidates for federal, state, legislative and judicial races. The top two vote-getters in each race will advance to the Nov. 6 general election.

On Aug. 7, North Kitsap voters will vote for U.S. Senate, Congressional District 1 short-term, Congressional District 6, governor, lieutenant governor, secretary of state, state treasurer, state auditor, attorney general, commissioner of public lands, superintendent of public instruction, insurance commissioner, 23rd District state senator, 23rd District state representative position 2; state Supreme Court positions 2, 8 and 9; Court of Appeals Division 2, District 2, Position 2; and Kitsap County Superior Court position 7.

On Nov. 6, North Kitsap voters will vote for those positions and for County Commission District 1 and 2.

There are four candidates for Superior Court. If one candidate receives more than 50 percent of the vote in the primary, he or she will be elected, county Elections Supervisor Dolores Gilmore said.
