The Suquamish Foundation will celebrate the success of the House of Awakened Culture and the future Suquamish Museum building with a gathering May 14.

The event will be from 5:30-9 p.m. in the House of Awakened Culture on the Suquamish waterfront.

Renowned Navajo-Ute flute player Carlos Nakai and Hawaiian slack key guitarist Keola Beamer will perform. The event will also include food and an auction for a native flute.

Proceeds benefit Suquamish building projects, including the planned museum. For ticket information see www.suquamishfoundatiuon.org. The Suquamish Foundation is a fundraising arm of the Suquamish Tribe.
