Leadership Kitsap extends deadline for applicants | News Brief

The applications deadline for the Leadership Kitsap Class of 2011 has been extended to May 7.

Leadership Kitsap is a training and development program for existing and emerging leaders of the community.

Participants learn about the critical issues of Kitsap County, while identifying the leadership skills necessary to motivate, train and engage others in collaborative efforts to address the issues.

Participants also work in teams on wide-ranging, creative service projects. Possible projects may address social problems, educational issues, and economic development.
