Suicide conference to be held Saturday

Bremerton will host a Survivors of Suicide Conference Saturday at the Norm Dicks Government Center.

The event, sponsored by the Kitsap Suicide Prevention Task Force, will include a panel forum of local experts and survivors who will share their experience of losing someone to suicide. A national teleconference program of teens and adults will also be included.

The conference runs 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the council chambers at 345 Sixth Street.
