POULSBO — Poulsbo Police are looking for a man believed to have robbed the Kitsap Credit Union on State Route 305 in Poulsbo at about 10:10 Monday morning. They also are searching for a woman who was believed to have driven the getaway car.

It is Poulsbo's second bank robbery in two weeks.

According to a press release from Poulsbo Police, a white man about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, walked into the Poulsbo branch of the Kitsap Credit Union and presented a note to a teller, then fled with a small amount of cash.

A second suspect, a woman, was waiting outside in a vehicle believed to be a late-90s, blue Geo Storm hatchback, the press release stated.

The press release states the man was wearing a black pants, a black jacket, a white shirt and white shoes. He also was wearing a black, costume-type wig.

A couple eyewitnesses said early this morning they both saw the man run out of the bank and toward Eighth Street, which runs parallel to State Route 305.

More information will be posted as it becomes available.
