Donations to the 2008 Bellringer Fund, which benefits families in the North End in 2009, have slowed but they haven’t stopped. The fund is nearly $13,000 shy of its $35,000 goal and sits at $22,642 this week.

Donating since Saturday’s edition:

• Mary and Al Carter, $50.

• Darryl and Patricia Milton, $250.

• Dan and Ellen Konopaski, in memory of Carl and Vi Konopaski and Mahlon and Thelma Smith, $50.

To donate, drop off a check at Frontier Bank, the Herald (18887 State Route 305, Ste. 700, Poulsbo) or Bellringer Fund, P.O. Box 1244, Poulsbo, WA, 98370.

In addition, Mike’s Car Wash in Poulsbo will donate a portion of each car wash in the month of December to the Bellringer.
