Want to help with a budget?

NKSD is gathering suggestions from parents, community members and staff to help trim the 2009-10 school district budget. More than 120 volunteers joined the budget work groups to develop suggested reductions to the budget. The district is asking parents and community members to volunteer for the Citizens Review Committee for one evening only, from 7 to 10 p.m. Jan. 21 in the Kingston High School Commons.

If you have a budget-reduction suggestion, please fill out a “Blue Note.” Blue note forms are available at www.nkschools.org, and at each school or district office building. To volunteer e-mail Chris Case, ccase@nkschools.org or call (360) 779-8703.
