Poulsbo man killed in accident

An early morning collision in Silverdale killed a 65-year-old man Saturday, Nov. 1, according to a Washington State Patrol (WSP) report.

John Kenneth Dickson, of Poulsbo, died at the scene shortly before 4 a.m. at the intersection of N.W. Bucklin Hill Road and Central Valley Road. Dickson was traveling southbound on a 1980 Honda XL500S on Central Valley Road and hit the side of a 1997 Ford Escort driven by a 50-year-old Silverdale woman traveling eastbound on Bucklin Hill Road. He was wearing a helmet.
