Navy security drill slated for July 8 and 22

The Navy will be conducting security exercise drills on July 8 and 22 at Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor waterfront.

Tenant commands and local residents may see or hear exercise activity that will include the use of blank ammunition, noise producing simulators and smoke. Live ammunition will not be used.

The drills help ensure the safety and security of U.S. military resources. Exercises such as these are conducted in realistic environments under realistic circumstances to ensure forces maintain the highest level of proficiency and readiness.
