Severe-weather shelter stays open through Feb. 9
BREMERTON — Because of below-freezing weather conditions, the Kitsap County Department of Emergency Management is keeping the severe-weather shelter open through Feb. 9.
The shelter is open from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. each night. Guests are not able to check into the shelter after 10 p.m.
The shelter is located at Bremerton Food Line, 1600 12th St., Bremerton.
The shelter will serve all residents of our area who require safe overnight refuge where none is available. Further activations will be weather dependent. Stay tuned.
