A 50-year-old Hansville woman was taken to Bremerton’s Harrison Medical Center for injuries sustained in a two-car accident June 27 near Hansville.

The incident is still under investigation but according to police reports, the woman rear-ended the car in front of her as it was performing a U-turn at the intersection of Hansville and Eglon Road.

The driver, a 47-year-old Bremerton man, was avoiding driving behind two motorcycles being ridden erratically.

Neither car was totaled; however, hers was towed from the scene.

Causes and charges are pending investigation.
