Poulsbo man allegedly sells stolen property

POULSBO — Clayton C. Stanley, 20, of Poulsbo, is charged in Kitsap County District Court with first-degree trafficking in stolen property.

On April 28, a man reported a theft from his vehicle on the 18000 block of Fjord Drive: numerous power tools, a set of keys, GPS and hand tools, totaling $4,500.

According to the report, residents in the area set up surveillance and developed a possible suspect vehicle registered to Stanley's father.

Stanley was arrested June 19 for a separate vehicle prowl. He admitted to officers he sold the tools from the April 28 theft to a second hand store in Bremerton, according to the report. Stanley's ID matched in the store's records. Stanley also admitted to other vehicle prowls, burglaries and thefts in Poulsbo, Bainbridge Island and areas in North Kitsap.

He was booked into Kitsap County Jail on trafficking and failure to appear, total bail $50,000.
