White Horse Golf Club reports vandalism

KINGSTON — White Horse Golf Club reported May 26 that it had been vandalized.

Superintendent Dennis Feeney told the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office that the night before, an unknown person or persons drove onto the 11th and 12th greens; tire tracks could be seen coming from the roadway leading up to the course. According to the report, "tires were clearly spinning on the green and the turf was torn up."

The estimated damage to the greens is $2,000, plus a $200 red flag was stolen. The report states the vehicle was possibly a truck.

There is no suspect information as of this posting.
