The May 17 North Kitsap Herald: Two sections, 48 pages, with Viking Fest features and schedules, USA Weekend magazine, and local and regional advertising circulars. / Page designed by Richard Walker

POULSBO — The North Kitsap Herald will be delivered later than usual Friday. Publisher Donna Etchey said home copies should be delivered by 6 p.m.

Etchey said the newspaper was delayed by upgrades to the company's press in Everett. Upgrades are being done to accommodate the daily Everett Herald, which became a Sound Publishing newspaper in March.

Readers can still read the North Kitsap Herald page by page online at www.northkitsapherald.com/green_editions. Many stories in the print edition will be posted Friday on NorthKitsapHerald.com. Readers can also get news updates on the Herald's Facebook page. Scan the code on our Opinion page to download our free mobile app.

The May 17 edition of the Herald is 48 pages in two sections. The front section has features and schedules related to Viking Fest. Kitsap Week includes a special section related to the Armed Forces Day celebration in Bremerton. Readers also get USA Weekend magazine, and local and regional advertising circulars.
