HANSVILLE — Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office deputies have arrested a - transient man who allegedly stole from a Hansville couple.

The victim, a 45-year-old Hansville resident, called Kitsap County Central Communications while on vacation in Mexico to notify law enforcement that an alleged Hurricane Katrina survivor had been staying in his home and the victim noticed several forged and cashed checks and unauthorized withdrawals from his checking account.
