North Kitsap hops down the bunny trail for Easter

NORTH KITSAP — The following is a list of Easter egg and candy hunts taking place in North Kitsap this year. All hunts are free and open to the public but parents are asked to please check age limits of individual events to determine age-appropriateness.

• 9:45 a.m. Saturday, April 10 at Raab Park in Poulsbo — Poulsbo Parks and Recreation annual Easter candy hunt, co-sponsored by the Poulsbo/North Kitsap Rotary and Poulsbo Noon Lions — 9:45 a.m. Easter bonnet and Easter basket contest, 10:05 a.m. hunt begins. Ages 1-10. Hunting areas are divided by age groups. Best Shots mobile espresso van for the parents. For more information, call (360) 779-9898.

•10 a.m. Saturday, April 10 at Bayside Community Church, 25992 Barber Cut-Off Road, in Kingston — Bayside Community Church Easter egg hunt. For ages infant to fourth grade. Meet North Kitsap Fire & Rescue’s dog Blaze. For more information, call (360) 297-2000.

• 10-11 a.m. Saturday, April 10 at Christ the King Academy gym in Poulsbo — Christ Memorial Church Children’s Ministries Easter egg hunt. For kids ages 10 and younger. •10:30 a.m. April 10, Indianola Living Hope Church, Midway & Division in Indianola — 5th Annual Easter egg hunt. For kids ages 3-10 years. Music, puppets and the Easter story. • 3 p.m. Saturday, April 10 at St. Charles Episcopal Church, SR 305 and Little Valley Road, in Poulsbo — St. Charles Community Relations Ministry Easter egg hunt. For more information, call (360) 779-3524.

• 3 p.m. Saturday, April 10 at Waterfront Park in Poulsbo — Sons of Norway Vikings Easter egg hunt. For kids ages 1-10. For more information, call (360) 779-5209.

•9 a.m. April 11 at Faith Episcopal Community Church, Kingston VFW Hall, 26096 West 1st. NE, Kingston — Easter egg hunt and brunch following Easter Sunday service. For more information, call (360) 297-4038.

•10:30 a.m. April 11 at St. Charles Episcopal Parish, SR 305 and Little Valley Rd., Poulsbo. Easter egg hunt following Easter Sunday service, For more information, call (360) 779-3524.

•2 p.m. April 11 at St. Elizabeth’s Orthodox Mission Church, meets at St. Peter’s Mission, 7076 NE South St., Suquamish — Easter egg hunt following Easter (Paschal) Sunday vespers. For more information, call (360) 598-5500 or go to www.stelizabethorthodox.org.
