New Years holiday closures and changes in North Kitsap

POULSBO Below is a schedule of changes and closures that are expected across North Kitsap around the New Years holiday. All closures are on Jan. 1 and entities will reopen Jan. 2 unless otherwise noted.
City, County and State offices:
All Department of Licensing driver licensing offices will be closed.
Poulsbo City Hall and all city buildings will be closed. City Hall will close at 4 p.m. Dec. 31.
Poulsbo Municipal Court will be closed.
The Poulsbo recreation center will close at 4 p.m. Dec. 31. It will be closed Jan. 1.
Poulsbo Police business office will be closed. Officers will still be on duty and can be reached in an emergency by calling 911.
Poulsbo Fire Department and North Kitsap Fire and Rescue headquarters will be closed. Emergency crews will still be on duty and can be reached in an emergency by calling 911.
All branches of the Kitsap County Library system will close at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 31. They will be closed Jan. 1.
Port of Poulsbo business office, guest moorage and fuel service will be closed.
Port of Kingston business offices and services will be closed.
Garbage and recycling:
Kitsap County Moderate Waste Facility will be closed.
Drop boxes in Bainbridge Island, Hansville, Poulsbo, Silverdale and Olalla will be closed.
Residential and commercial collection of garbage, recycling and debris inside Poulsbo city limits will remain on regular schedule.
Grocery stores:
Central Market in Poulsbo will be open regular hours.
Poulsbo Market Place will be open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Dec. 31 and 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Jan. 1.
Poulsbo Albertsons will be open regular hours.
Kingston Albertsons will be open regular hours.
Poulsbo Red Apple had not set its holiday hours as of Herald press time. Please call (360) 779-4422 to confirm hours.
Kingston Thriftway will close at 10 p.m. Dec. 31. It will be open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Jan. 1.
Health/Social Services
Fishline Food Bank will be closed Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.
Transportation:
There will be no Kitsap Transit service.
Seattle/Bainbridge and Edmonds/Kingston ferry routes will be on holiday schedule.
