POULSBO - About 1,400 Puget Sound Energy customers were without power for about 30 minutes Tuesday after a mishap at a work site.

At about 11:30 a.m. Aug. 26, a crew changing out a wire accidentally touched two wires, which blew a nearby circuit.

Tim Bader, spokesperson for PSE, said the circuit served about 1,400 customer but he was unsure of the geographical boundaries of the outage.

The Poulsbo Public Works department indicated that outage reports had come in from as far north as Poulsbo Village, as far south as Hostmark Street, as far east as the State Highway 305 corridor and as far west as the Poulsbo Parks and Recreation building.

Bader said all customers’ service was restored after about 30 minutes.
