IN OUR OPINION

" Remember all our children The generosity of this community is legendary. And, as we do our last-minute holiday shopping, baking and celebrating, it would be easy to forget that there are children here who may not have a gift to open. They have told us what they want for Christmas. Their requests are as basic as new jeans, pajamas to a CD, doll or anything. Their wishes are hanging from the Sharing Trees at Frontier Bank on 7th Avenue and Viking Community Bank on Highway 305. Unfortunately, many of those wishes are still hanging on the tree---awaiting a generous person who is willing to add just one more child to their gift list. You still have time to help, please add their simple request to your own list. You will never know the child you help, but you will know you helped. Bellringer, too Donations are still needed for our Bellringer Fund as well. We're well on the way to meeting our $20,000 goal--but to get there, we need everybody's support. Drop off your check, or mail it to the Bellringer Fund soon. Helping has never felt so good as it does when you're sharing your own blessings with those who have had a less fortunate year. "
