"POULSBO - Sharing Trees will once again be taking root at Bank of America and Frontier Bank on Jensen Way this holiday season - and if all goes as planned - the spirit of Christmas will grow as a result. The tree program, in which limbs are adorned with special tags bearing the Christmas wishes of area youth, is entering it's eleventh year, according to long-time organizer Judy Bethea. About 75 children get served each year, Bethea said, explaining that the gift program helps kids ages zero to 18 years of age. Interested individuals can stop by either branch office and remove a tag from the tree. The tag indicates the gift, which should then be wrapped and returned to the bank, she said, which gets the gifts to the kids. For more information about the Sharing Tree, contact Bethea at 297-2740.
