"Morgan was driving a 1994 Ford Probe when the one-car accident occurred at about 11:45 p.m.. It is unclear to Kitsap County Sheriff's Deputies whether Morgan was wearing her seatbelt when the accident occurred. She was found pinned under the car and pronounced dead at the scene. Morgan was the only occupant of the car. Sheriff's deputies say the weather was clear at the time of the accident and that speed was a factor in the crash. North Kitsap Fire & Rescue crews also responded to the call. Firefighters found no evidence of fire, but were concerned that there might have been other occupants that were thrown from the car. They spent nearly an hour combing the surrounding areas for other victims, but none were found. The cause of the accident is under investigation. We believe there might have been witnesses, said Sgt. Earl Smith. He is asking anyone who has information about the accident to call Deputy Ken Dickinson of the Traffic Division at 360-337-4634. The sheriff's office conducted a speed emphasis on West Kingston Road last month in an effort to remind drivers to obey the speed limit. "
