POULSBO — Caleb R. Sloan, 18, of Poulsbo, was arrested for residential burglary and third-degree theft following two incidents in December and January.
According to the report, on Dec. 5, the victim reported a burglary in progress at her residence in Poulsbo to the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office. The victim reported seeing two males "fleeing" from her house after she arrived home and interrupted them. One fled on foot, the other in a blue-colored Subaru.
Soon after, the deputy that responded to the scene was called to a one-car crash at Pioneer Way and Lofall, where a blue Subaru was found in the bushes unoccupied. The car was reported stolen in Clallam County.
The victim positively identified the car, which had paperwork inside for James Pedrioli, who had a warrant out for his arrest for possession of stolen property. Pedrioli was arrested; he said Sloan was with him at the residence and took a TV.
Pedrioli is currently in Kitsap County Jail on $130,100 bail, charged with possession, residential burglary and contempt of court.
Sloan was also a suspect in a shoplifting at Albertsons in Kingston Jan. 20.
Sloan was booked into Kitsap County Jail Feb. 2 on residential burglary, escape community custody and contempt of court charges, on $20,000 bail.
