Woman charged with stealing credit card information

POULSBO — Sarah J. Penwell, 30, of Seattle, is charged in Kitsap County Superior Court with second-degree theft.

According to the report, on Oct. 19, the victim, a Poulsbo resident, reported to the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office $500 in fraudulent charged to his credit card. The victim was still in possession of his credit card, but was contacted by Visa fraud management when the card number was used.

Three charges were made on Oct. 18 — two to PCS inmate calling services, one to Priceline.com, and two pending charges to Office Depot. Priceline.com told the victim a room was booked under Penwell's name.
