POULSBO — Looking for a night of fine dining, mystery and mayhem, while also supporting local educational opportunities?

The North Kitsap Options Club hosts its 12th annual fundraiser, a Mystery Dinner Theater and Auction, Feb. 15-17.

This year, the North Kitsap Options parent group are performing “Murder and Mayhem at Mardi Gras,” an original work by an Options parent, set in New Orleans.

The Mystery Dinner Theater is the largest annual fundraiser for the North Kitsap alternative K-8 education program, celebrating 21 years.

Mardi Gras attire is encouraged. Guests will enjoy four-course Cajun dinner, prepared and served by Options middle school culinary arts students.

The live auction lineup features vacation and stay-cation packages, art pieces by local artists, gift basket raffles, and a “Wine Wall” of student-made Mardi Gras masks.

All proceeds from the three-night event will help fund field trips, teaching materials, educational development tools and other expenses not in district’s budget.

The dinner shows begin at 6 p.m. at the Poulsbo Eagles Performance Hall, 4230 NE Lincoln Road. Tickets are $50 a person, $45 for seniors, and $45 a person when booked in parties of eight. Purchase tickets online at 2013mdt.eventbrite.com or by calling (360) 394-6758.
