Kingston man charged with burglary

KINGSTON — Daniel L. DeCoteau Jr., 20, is charged with burglary with a domestic violence special allegation for crimes allegedly committed at a Kingston home Dec. 9.

According to the report, DeCoteau entered his girlfriend’s residence “uninvited,” kicked her and punched her in the stomach and face.

DeCoteau allegedly damaged drywall and a toilet seat during the assault, and kicked the tail light of a vehicle in the driveway. He was initially arrested for fourth-degree assault and third-degree malicious mischief as well as burglary.

DeCoteau was booked into Kitsap County Jail on the burglary charge on $50,000 bail, as well as contempt of court with no bail.
