Todd Butler returns

He’s back. Todd Butler, a musician and comedian who has hosted and co-hosted CBC’s Madly Off in All Directions is playing in Qualicum Beach this weekend.

This is the fourth time the satirist has appeared in Qualicum Beach.

“We’re very grateful that he says yes to us every year,” says Debbie Ryan, a show organizer and the opening act, along with Jack Stevenson.

“He’s so worth seeing. I love the show.”

She explains Butler is a comedian and satire songwriter. No topic is safe from his satire: not the prairies, hockey or politics.

“He’s an outstanding musician. He’s played music forever. You will laugh from the very beginning to the very end,” Ryan says.

Tickets are $15 and available at Cranky Dog Music and The Shoe Inn. The show is Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. at the Qualicum Beach Civic Centre. Doors for An Evening with Todd Butler open at 7:30 p.m.
