Hood Canal Bridge reopens

The Hood Canal Bridge, which was closed to motor vehicle traffic this afternoon due to high winds was reopened to travelers at 7:20 p.m., according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The closure began at 4:30 p.m., will end, said Richard Langlois of WSDOT. ?The bridge span is opened during periods of sustained high-winds to protect the integrity of the structure.
