Woman allegedly attacks Walmart security staff

A Poulsbo woman is charged with assaulting Walmart security staff.

Loss prevention agents at the Poulsbo Walmart attempted to stop Jean D. Marvel, 27, after observing her concealing merchandise and leaving the store without paying Nov. 24 around 10:20 p.m. According to the report, Marvel punched a security staffer in the face and elbowed another staffer. Marvel left her purse and ran away from the store.

Marvel was located in Suquamish and arrested Nov. 25. She is charged with third-degree assault and was booked into Kitsap County Jail on $50,000 bail.
