'Nerds' assemble for North Kitsap High School homecoming week

POULSBO — In celebration of North Kitsap High School's homecoming, students dressed as "nerds" today, Oct. 2. The dress-up day is the second this week, and part of Spirit Week.

The annual Power Puff Volleyball game (boys) is tonight, from 5-6 p.m. in the North Kitsap Gymnasium. The Powder Puff Football game (girls) begins at 6:30 p.m. at North Kitsap Stadium.

The North Kitsap Homecoming Parade is Wednesday, Oct. 3 in downtown Poulsbo. The parade begins at 6:30 p.m. and goes along Front Street.

Thursday, Oct. 4, the girls soccer and volleyball teams face Sequim. Competition begins at 5 p.m with Junior Varsity. Varsity volleyball is scheduled for 6:15 p.m. Varsity soccer is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 5, is the coronation assembly in the afternoon, preceding the homecoming football game against North Mason. Kickoff is 7 p.m. During halftime, homecoming royalty will be crowned.

The homecoming dance is Oct. 6.
