A Poulsbo man was seriously injured in a head-on collision Friday afternoon.

POULSBO — A 55-year-old Poulsbo man was seriously injured in a head-on collision Friday afternoon around 3 p.m. on Lincoln Road, near Pugh Road.

Poulsbo Fire firefighters extricated the driver of a Chevy Camaro and transported him to Harrison Hospital in Bremerton Sept. 21. The male driver of the Chevy pickup apparently had his learner permit, but his age was unknown when the story was first posted. He was not transported.

The Poulsbo Police are investigating the incident. Lincoln Road was closed for approximately one hour.
