Poulsbo man allegedly threats another with gun

PORT ORCHARD — A Poulsbo man was charged with threatening to kill another with a gun he was prohibited from carrying Aug. 20.
Raymond E. Mowry, 20, was arrested Aug. 19 in Port Orchard for harassment (threat to kill), possession of meth, second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm, escape from community custody and reckless endangerment.
According to the report, Mowry came to the reporting victim's house around 9:30 a.m. and threatened "to do harm to him and his family members" if Mowry didn't receive $500, then said he would be back with a firearm. Mowry allegedly asked the victim for $500 the day before. According to the report, the victim said he did not give Mowry the money when he found out Mowry was planning to buy drugs.
The victim said he had seen the suspect with a firearm in the past. Mowry is a convicted felon and is prohibited from carrying a firearm.
Port Orchard Police officers found Mowry about 10:45 a.m. with meth in his pocket.
He was booked into Kitsap County Jail on $150,000 bail.
