'Best of North Kitsap' winners announced in latest Herald

POULSBO — The Best of North Kitsap 2012 is included the Aug. 17 North Kitsap Herald, available now at newsstands and in stores.
Readers voted online on their favorites in 88 categories — Services, Shopping, Fitness & Sports, Entertainment, Food, Public Servants, and Best Aspects of Living in North Kitsap.
All told, the latest edition of the Herald consists of 76 pages and several sections: Kitsap Week, The Best of North Kitsap 2012, the United Way's 75th anniversary, and USA Weekend magazine. Among the top stories: The Babe Ruth World Series, a cultural renaissance among the Sami people, and The Book Stop's future in the wake of its owner's death.
