Suspect in New Year's Eve truck theft found

KINGSTON — A Kingston woman was arrested for allegedly stealing a truck Jan. 1.

Luella L. Scheibner, 31, was charged with second-degree taking of a motor vehicle without permission July 23.

A male reported his truck stolen sometime during the night of New Year’s Eve. The male was at the Poulsbo Inn with the suspect and when he woke in the morning, Scheibner and the truck were gone.

Scheibner was booked into Kitsap County Jail on $10,000 bail.
