KINGSTON — A Bremerton man was arrested for allegedly  burglarizing a Kingston residence July 26.

David J. Pruitte, 28, was charged with residential burglary Aug. 1. According to the report, the victim called 9-1-1 to report an interrupted burglary at his home, after catching two males inside his RV. The victim later found his tattoo artist kit, valued at over $1,000, was missing.

The owner of the property the RV sits on reportedly told Sheriff deputies a male matching the description of the suspect called to look at the motorcycle the property owner had for sale. The property owner said he was familiar with the suspect, but said he was out of town and could not show Pruitte the motorcycle. The call took place 10 minutes before the burglary occurred.

Pruitte was already in Kitsap County Jail on another charge, and was booked for the burglary charge on $10,000 bail, later reduced to $2,500.
