Canoe Journey in North Kitsap, day one | Slideshow

LITTLE BOSTON  -- Twenty-seven canoes stopped at Point Julia on the Port Gamble S'Klallam reservation Friday as part of the 2012 Canoe Journey/Paddle to Squaxin. Here is a slideshow of images from the visit.

The Journey continued on to Suquamish on Saturday. Canoes depart Monday for other points south en route to the final destination, the territory of the Squaxin Island Tribe, July 29 to Aug. 5.
