Babe Ruth World Series recruiting ambassadors, host families

POULSBO — The Babe Ruth World Series is recruiting girls in grades 7 and 8, ages 12-14, to serve as Babe Ruth Ambassadors.

The Babe Ruth World Series, for teams of 13-year-old players from across the United States,  is coming to Kitsap Aug. 13-22. Poulsbo is host city. The games will be played  at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds.

Two Ambassadors will be assigned to each team. Ambasadors will bring out banners during the games and perform other support roles.

Host families are needed. Responsibilities include providing overnight accommodations in your home, getting players to and from practice and games, and keeping them fed.
