Poulsbo woman injured after her car crashes into house

SCANDIA — A 60-year-old Poulsbo woman was injured when her car went off the road and crashed into a house on Scandia Road, June 30.
The woman was taken to Harrison Medical Center with serious injuries.
The incident occurred just before 6 p.m. Poulsbo Fire Department went to the scene. No one else was injured.
The vehicle, a four-door Honda Element, left the roadway near a 90-degree turn in the road and traveled across two yards before hitting the house. The impact caused the vehicle’s airbag to deploy and caused significant structural damage to the house.
