Two local women attending DAR national meeting

Two local women are part of a delegation attending the Daughters of the American Revolution National Conference in Washington D.C. June 27 to July 1.They are members of the Elizabeth Ellington chapter, Bremerton, of the DAR.
Marissa Goldenman of Seabeck was honored on opening night as Washington State’s Outstanding Junior and is one of the finalists for the national title. Jane Ritchey of Hansville was Wednesday for first place in American Heritage Knitting for her hands-on, handknit Nordic-patterned sweater, made from her own sheep’s wool.
Ritchey and incoming Regent Jennifer Lundberg sang in the DAR All-American Chorus onstage in Constitution Hall on Thursday night.
