Lots of activities at Fish Park for Family Trails Day

POULSBO — Celebrate National Trails Day on June 2, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Poulsbo’s Fish Park.

Walk the 1.5 miles of trails, participate in station activities, record your observations in a special passport and learn about nature in this urban park.

This is a great opportunity to spend some quality time in the out-of-doors and get to know one of your neighborhood parks.

Trails support an active, healthy lifestyle. They contribute to walkable neighborhoods and encourage the enjoyment of fresh air and conversation.

Trails contribute to stronger cities. More people out walking means more eyes on the street and more neighborhood pride and social connections. Trails can contribute to positive tourism and conservation enhancements.

No pre-registration is required for Family Trails Day. For more information, call Poulsbo Parks and Recreation at (360) 779-9898 or visit www.cityofpoulsbo.com/parks/parks.htm.
