POULSBO — A Poulsbo man was arrested May 14 for stealing from his grandfather, who lives at an assisted living facility’s secured memory unit.
Kyle M. Fraser, 25, of Poulsbo, is charged with second-degree theft, residential burglary and possession of drugs without a prescription. Staff members at Montclair Park reported a suspicious young man in the secured memory unit at 1:40 a.m. on April 14. The man went into an apartment, identified as Fraser’s grandfather’s, and took $12 cash and a debit card.
Between April 18-20, $441.75 was spent using the allegedly stolen debit card. A family member noticed suspicious activity on the card on April 29 and had it deactivated.
Through video footage, Fraser was identified as the man at Montclair Park and using the card. He was booked into Kitsap County Jail on $75,000 bail.
