POULSBO — More than 30 people filled the Poulsbo City Council chambers Wednesday — friends, family and supportive residents — to welcome new Deputy Police Chief Wendy Davis to the job.

After some words by Chief Dennis Swiney, Mayor Becky Erickson swore Davis into office, completing her first day on the job.
