KINGSTON — Summer made a welcome appearance Monday for Kingston's Fourth of July parade.

The day began with community breakfasts and a fun run. Crowds lined the town's streets for the parade at noon, and stayed for live music on the waterfront and a fireworks show over Apple Tree Cove.
