KINGSTON — A multi-car collision on the Kingston ferry dock Monday afternoon delayed state ferry traffic. The ferry Spokane was running 20 minutes late as of 5 p.m., Washington State Ferries spokeswoman Susan Harris-Huether said.

Harris-Huether said the collision happened as vehicles were boarding the Spokane for a 4:40 p.m. sailing. One vehicle collided with a railing causing at least one other vehicle to crash.

One person was transported to a hospital, according to North Kitsap Fire & Rescue.

More details will be posted as they become available.
