Two Poulsbo residents were hospitalized Tuesday morning following a head-on collision on Bond Road near Port Gamble Road.

A 1990 Ford Econoline van traveling south at about 8:30 a.m. crossed the centerline and struck a 2006 Suzuki Reno, according to a statement from the State Patrol.

The 44-year-old Poulsbo man driving the Suzuki and his passenger — a 36-year-old Poulsbo woman — were taken to Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton for treatment of neck and chest injuries. Both were wearing seatbelts at the time of the wreck. The driver of the Econoline, a 24-year-old Suquamish man, was uninjured.

Both vehicles were totaled in the collision and were towed.
