POULSBO — A vehicle rolled over on Viking Way near Scandia Road on Monday afternoon, blocking traffic.

The driver, a 46-year-old Silverdale woman, was taken to Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton for treatment of minor injuries, according to a Kitsap County Sheriff's Office report. She was the only person in the vehicle.

The woman was driving southound on Viking Way shortly before 4 p.m. when she failed to negotiate a turn near Nordic Cove Lane. The vehicle veered off the shoulder of the road, hit an embankment and rolled over. The woman was trapped briefly inside the vehicle.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Traffic was disrupted for about an hour on Viking Way.
