North Kitsap fire commissions to discuss cooperation study Monday

POULSBO — North Kitsap Fire and Rescue and Poulsbo Fire commissioners will discuss a study on interagency cooperation Monday in a special meeting in Poulsbo.

The fire commissions issued a joint request for proposals in October for an independent study of how the districts could save money and provide better service through cooperation. On Monday, commissioners will discuss criteria for evaluating proposals received.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in Poulsbo Fire Department Station 71, 911 NE Liberty Road.
