Hansville hosting candidates for pie social Friday

HANSVILLE — The Greater Hansville Community Center and the League of Women Voters will host a candidate forum and pie social at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 8.

Residents will have the opportunity to meet and question nearly all the candidates seeking election on Nov. 2 The 14 participants will include:

•U.S. Representative, District 1: Jay Inslee, James Watkins

•State Representative, 23rd District: Sherry Appleton, Pete Deboer

•State Representative, 23rd District: Christine Rolfes, James Olson

•County Commissioner, District 1: Josh Brown, Abby Burlingame

• County Coroner: Greg Sandstrom, Peve Favazza

•County Prosecuting Attorney: Russell Hauge, Bruce Danielson

• Public Utility District, District 1: John Armstrong, Linda Gabriel.

The format will include statements from each candidate and questions from the audience.
