Poulsbo man killed in head-on collision in Idaho

A Poulsbo man was killed in a head-on collision near Lewiston, Idaho, according to Idaho State Police.

Hershal D. Brown, 65, of Poulsbo, was driving a 1999 Subaru Legacy southbound on US 95 near Cottonwood, southeast of Lewiston, when his car collided with a northbound vehicle about noon on Sunday, Sept. 12.

The driver of the other vehicle, a 25-year-old Idaho man, was taken to a hospital with injuries. He was driving a 2007 Toyota Rav4.

An investigation is underway, Idaho Police report.

Brown was not wearing a seatbelt, according to a report of the scene.
